Introducing Westin's first hollow body lure: Danny the Duck Hollowbody! At just 3.5″ (9cm) long, it's the perfect weapon for big mean bass.
This Danny the Duck Hollowbody has one superpower: attracting bass like crazy! Westin figured this baby duckling needed to be able to be fished in heavy cover, which they achieved with its super weedless hook design.
Can you picture it? That massive bass totally inhaling Danny the Duck right in front of you?
So Danny the Ducky Hollobody has a few tricks up his… feathers? If you twitch him, he'll swing out 180 degrees in tight, short swings. He stays long on the hot-spot and whether you fish him fast or slow you can create an incredibly life-like hopping action right down to the bubble trail a real fleeing duckling would make. Danny's beak also serves to add a unique front splash – – don't forget the pause!
His small soft feet seal the deal by adding an extra realistic fluttering below the surface, just like a panicked baby duckling trying to escape its prey. When that bass strikes, Danny's hollow body will collapse around the double-hook ensuring a high hook up ratio.
We challenge you to find a more fun lure to fish with!
